We are excited to embark on our fourth summer season as part of the Bristol Harbour Community. Since the start of our ownership in January 2016, our family has made it a priority to improve the Bristol Harbour experience every year.
This year, we have continued to better our facilities, with new showers in the hotel and updated bathrooms in the lobby of the Lodge.
We are also excited to announce the expansion of Bernie’s Café into an ice cream shop. Bernie’s Café will continue to feature your favorite coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches, along with delicious ice cream. The Café can now service your favorite flavors over homemade bubble waffle cones. Whether you’re feeding yourself, or your Instagram, our bubble waffles are the perfect summer treat.
At the Restaurant at Bristol Harbour, we are grateful for the continued hard work of our Executive Chef, Dan Hixon, who joined our team last July. Chef Dan has worked hard during the off-season to develop a menu with local, Finger Lakes touches and allergen and vegetarian-friendly options.
Complementing Chef Dan is our Executive Pastry Chef, Paul Piorkowski, who hand-makes all featured desserts. While Chef Paul’s desserts never disappoint, be sure to try our family’s favorite: the Chocolate Molten Lava Cake.
We are also very proud to announce that our golf course was ranked #12 on Golf Advisor’s Best of New York List. Additionally, we were ranked #8 on their 2018 Staff Friendliness national list and #4 on their 2018 Pace of Play national list. Bettering our golf experience to match the beauty of our scenic Robert Trent Jones course has been a top priority since the start of our ownership, and we are very pleased with the progress we have and will continue to make.
